Area Cropping for 4K videos, Fisheye Channels added in Multi-Stream Mode and more convenient functions are introduced in the new version of Milesight CMS to make your video surveillance system more efficient and flexible.
Xiamen, China (February 9th, 2021)-Milesight Technology, the best-in-class IP surveillance solution provider who manufactures products with superior image quality, exceptional flexibility and reliability for the global market, is pleased to announce the release of the new firmware version 2.4.0.10 of Milesight CMS. This updated release includes the new features and optimizations as below.
New Features
(1) Support adding Fisheye channels in Multi-Stream Mode.
Fisheye cameras have multiple channels based on different Display Mode under Multi-Stream Mode. Each of the channels has its own Channel ID. When the Milesight CMS is used to add a Fisheye camera, it will distinguish the ID of all the Fisheye channels and take them as independent channels for adding according to the needs of users.
(2) Support the Area Cropping function for the Milesight 4K Camera Series.
Users can set the regions of interest based on the viewing areas to generate corresponding independent channels, and each of them has its own ID for CMS to add. It's convenient for users to view the certain area. In addition, the Auto Tracking function is available for generated channels. It will track the moving object entering the monitoring area.
(3) Support the Snapshot All function in the playback interface, which allows users to snapshot multiple channels at the same time when playing back, providing convenient operation.
(4) Support talking to the camera added in the NVR. It allows talking to one camera at a time.
(5) Support the Alarm Input/Output configuration function for the camera added in the NVR.
(6) Compatible with new features in 4x.7.0.77 version of Milesight cameras.
a. Encrypt the configuration file when exporting and decrypt the configuration file when importing to ensure operation security.
b. Some of the features of VCA events configuration are as follows:
① Add the Human/Vehicle Detection Object for some VCA events, which improves the accuracy of detection.
Note: Make sure your camera model is MS-CXXXX-XXC.
② Remove Process FPS and Camera Installation configuration in the VCA -> Settings interface.
③ Add the adjustment of Object Size for Advanced Motion Detection in the VCA -> Settings interface.
④ Add the Human/Vehicle Tracking Object to the Auto Tracking function for the PTZ Camera Series, which makes the tracking more accurate.
Note: Make sure your camera model is MS-CXXXX-XXC.
c. Add the Enable option for the Email in the Network -> Email interface.
(7) Compatible with new features in 7x.9.0.10 version of Milesight NVRs.
a. Add the Audio configuration for the cameras added in the NVR.
b. Add some local and remote Audio permissions.
c. Add the configuration of Tracking Zoom Ratio to the Auto Tracking function for the PTZ Camera Series. Users can set the required zoom ratio by adjusting the zoom button.
d. Add the Enable option for the Email in the Network -> Email interface.
Optimizations
(1) Optimize the user interface.
(2) Optimize the response time of the interface.
(3) Compatible with more functions of devices added via P2P.
(4) Optimize other functions.
Bug Fixes
(1) Fix the bug that the video files downloaded are overwritten when the NVR channel names are the same.
(2) Fix the bug that downloading the video files in MP4 format abnormally when the NVR device name contains some specific Korean characters.
(3) Fix the bug that the Alarm Popup doesn't work for VCA events in the NVR.
(4) Fix the bug that downloading cross-section playback video files fails, which are in MP4 video format and G711 audio format.
(5) Fix other bugs.
