Compatibility

This chapter introduces the device compatibility and describes the steps to check the compatible systems.

Compatible AC Systems

The controller is almost compatible with any air conditioner that comes with an infrared remote control, including different types of AC units:

  • Mini Split
  • Window
  • Cassette
  • Portable
  • PTAC/PTHP
  • Central

How to Check Air Conditioner Compatibility

UC701 smart AC controllers achieve compatibility with different air conditioners by learning and replicating the infrared codes from the remote control. To check compatibility of an AC:
  1. Ensure the AC has an infrared remote control.
  2. Use compatibility checker to find if your AC is in the list.
  3. If not found, contact Milesight about it.
