Configure General Parameters

This section describes the general device parameters and provides links to the detailed configuration procedures for related features.

Configure by ToolBox
Note: Before configuring the device through ToolBox, access it through NFC or Bluetooth. For the navigation path and write operation conventions used in this guide, see Configure the Device in ToolBox.
  1. Navigate to Device > General.
  2. Configure the related parameters.

    Parameter Description
    Temperature Unit Select the temperature unit displayed in ToolBox and on the device screen. Default: °C.
    Note: After changing the unit, it is necessary update the temperature-related settings.
    System On/Off Set the HVAC system request status displayed and transmitted by the thermostat. For more details refer to Configure Temperature Control and Fan Parameters.
    Occupancy Detection Disable or enable occupancy detection. For more details refer to Configure Occupancy Detection.
    Button Customization For details, see Configure Button Parameters.
    Child Locks
    Screen Smart Mode When enabled, the screen does not update the ambient temperature or humidity if the absolute change remains within 0.5 °C or 3% RH for 10 minutes. This reduces power consumption and helps extend the screen lifespan.
    Time Zone For details, see Configure Time Parameters.
    Daylight Saving Time
    Change Password Change the password used for authenticated access and configuration through ToolBox. For details, see Change the Device Password.
  3. Tap Write to apply the configuration.
