Version 3.0.3
The release of version 3.0.3 for Milesight Development Platform enhances the remote access capability and introduces the battery life calculator. It also includes improvements such as AppKey management for LoRa nodes.
Key Features
- Remote Access Enhancement
-
Milesight Development Platform allows a single device to generate multiple remote access link groups (up to 100 per device), each with an independent validity period of up to one month. The link expires automatically after the validity period, and ongoing access is interrupted. Web remote access links can be opened directly in a browser without logging in to the platform. Users can delete a link group to revoke ongoing access at any time. For more information, see Remote Access Devices.Note: After the new version is released, the original remote access link will be invalid and requires regenerated.
- Passwordless Web Remote Access
-
When the device meets the eligibility conditions (data permission, firmware support, and enterprise trustworthiness), users can enable passwordless Web remote access. The generated link then opens the device WebUI directly without entering the account password. Passwordless and password-required links can coexist for the same device.
- Battery Life Calculator
-
Milesight Development Platform introduces an online battery life calculator. Users select the product model and enter project parameters such as report interval, working mode, sensor configuration, and battery quantity, and the tool estimates the theoretical battery runtime in days and years, along with the power consumption breakdown (LoRa communication, sensor sampling, standby, and so on).
Device
- Support setting a custom AppKey when adding a LoRa node device. If the AppKey is not specified, the device factory default AppKey is used for LNS registration. For more information, see Add Devices Individually.
- Support modifying the AppKey of a LoRa node device on the device details page. The platform re-registers the device in the LNS with the updated AppKey. For more information, see Edit or Delete Devices.
- The add-device OpenAPI supports setting a custom AppKey, and the update-device OpenAPI supports modifying the AppKey. For more information, see OpenAPI Debugging.
OpenAPI
- Add OpenAPIs to create, query, and delete remote access link groups for a device. The device ID is required to create or query links, and the link token is also required to delete a specific link group. For more information, see OpenAPI Debugging.
Others
- Fix some bugs.
