EM500-CO2 is designed for measuring CO2, temperature, humidity and barometric pressure in harsh environments and transmitting data using LoRaWAN® technology. With this low power consumption technology, it can work for up to 10 years with 19000 mAh battery, reducing maintenance costs significantly.
It senses the corresponding change in the CO2 (carbon dioxide) level from 400 to 5000ppm, temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure in the early stage of forest fire, then collects data at a minimum interval of 2 minutes or maximum interval of 30 minutes.
Once the data exceeds the preset tolerance limits defined in the alarm threshold, the sensor will report to the Milesight UG67 LoRaWAN® Gateway timely, and Milesight IoT Cloud will get the insightful data from gateway and sends a notification to alert recipients to take crucial actions , thus contributing to avoiding significant loss.
Milesight EM500-CO2 Carbon Dioxide Sensor provides an effective way to detect wildfire in the early stage mainly by carbon dioxide monitoring and assisted by temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure monitoring in real time. Once the wildfire happens, the carbon dioxide concentration level around the environment will increase, exceeding the normal standard. Meanwhile, the surrounding temperature and barometric pressure will rise as well, along with gradually decreasing level of humidity.
