Prince of Songkla University, a public university established in 1967 is the first university in southern Thailand. The university's highest priority is the safety and security of its students and teachers. In addition, the school's management team has a vision of introducing technology that has the potential to improve the quality of the education provided as well as greatly enhancing security and safety. The main requirement of the system was to monitor locations such as emergency room, elevator, office areas, lobbies, main exits, meeting rooms, corridors, parking lots and various major stores.

Solution

Faculty of Medicine in Prince of Songkla University now has an advanced, integrated IP-based security solution that provides a safe environment. The exterior network cameras give administrators an important window to the outside environment so they can respond quickly to protect the students and staff. In addition, the network video solution in place, thanks to its high degree of flexibility, can both be configured in accordance with the real situation in each section.
