Overview

As Brazil accelerates its national agenda for public security enhancement and smart city development, the government of Pernambuco launched the SECRETARIA DE ADMINISTRAÇÃO/PE - PE 263/2024 Smart City Security Project. The initiative is led by Teltex, one of Brazil's Top 3 security integrators and a long-standing premium partner of Milesight. Notably, Teltex was recognized as the largest integrator in Brazil in 2025.

Designed as a multi-phase urban infrastructure upgrade, the project aims to build a scalable and intelligent video surveillance network across the region:

  • Phase 1 has been successfully completed with the deployment of 720 high-performance Milesight AI cameras.

  • Phase 2 expanded the network with 526 additional cameras based on Phase 1's strong performance.

  • Phase 3 will focus on city-wide CCTV reinforcement with 506 units.

  • The remaining phases will be executed in 2026 to further scale coverage and advanced capabilities.

This landmark project marks an important breakthrough for Milesight in Brazil's competitive public security market.
