Transito Seguro is a traffic enforcement service provider in Argentina, focusing on speed and red-light violation enforcement. To replace a legacy manual review system and improve enforcement efficiency under high violation volumes, Transito Seguro upgraded its infrastructure with Milesight DualVision TrafficX Enforcement Cameras, enabling automated red-light detection and scalable deployment for future regional expansion.

The project is being deployed in phases, with 128 cameras already installed, an estimated 400 units per year, and a long-term plan to scale up to 1,000–2,000 locations.

The previous box-based solution required manual, visual confirmation of red-light violations at the backend, making large-scale enforcement slow and labor-intensive.

Strict ticket issuance deadlines

In Argentina, traffic fines must be issued within a specific time window to remain valid. Manual processing led to missed deadlines and lost enforcement opportunities.

Around 150 operators worked in shifts to review violations. Despite high manpower investment and incentive-based compensation, overall efficiency remained low.

TrafficX cameras automatically detect red-light running events at the edge, removing the need for continuous human monitoring and significantly accelerating enforcement workflows.

Enforcement-ready multi-image capture

Each violation is captured with three high-quality images by default, meeting local ticketing requirements. The camera also records event video, providing strong, traceable evidence for legal review.

Flexible function customization for local regulations

To better align with local enforcement rules, Milesight delivered customized features, including:

  • OSD content customization
  • Automatic video retransmission via HTTP POST when the device reconnects after network downtime
  • Optimized red-light violation detection logic
  • Customizable violation time schedules

In addition to red-light enforcement, Milesight Entrance & Exit AI LPR Pro Bullet Plus Cameras were deployed to detect heavy vehicles entering restricted urban zones, supporting broader traffic regulation objectives.
