A radar occupancy sensor detects human presence by transmitting radio frequency waves and analyzing the signals reflected from people or objects in the room. When a person is present, even small body movements such as slight posture changes can affect the reflected signal. The sensor uses these signal changes to determine whether the space is occupied, enabling accurate and reliable presence detection without relying on visible light.
VS370 does not capture images, videos, facial features, or personally identifiable visual data. Instead, it detects human presence through reflected radio frequency signals, without using cameras or image sensors.
